I’ve taken the liberty of creating a cheat sheet of sorts for your next dinner party. Here are suggestions for the types of menus that may work well for each dinner party occasion.

Examples could be Board Party where every guest brings a charcuterie board of their own flavors. Or a cultural celebration night where each guest hosts a night of flavorful dishes from their own heritage. How fun!

Type of Menu: Intimate and romantic with a focus on quality and presentation.

Main Course: Grilled Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce

Sample Menu: Variety of cheeses with wine pairings. It is super fun to ask guests to bring a cheese they want to try and a bottle of wine they think would go well with it. We did this at my uncle’s house once, paired with bruschetta and a light fresh butter lemon and basil pasta. It was delicious, easy, and so much fun!
Farewell Parties:
Type of Menu: Memorable and flavorful dishes to bid farewell on a positive note.
